How to unsuspend suspended domains? / Как разблокировать заблокированные домены? / 如何解封已暂停的域名? / ¿Cómo reactivar dominios suspendidos?

First of all, check if the domain has been suspended by the domain registrar or TLD registry.

  • We do not suspend domains and do not have the ability to unsuspend them;
  • Only the registrar or TLD registry that has placed the domain on Hold status can unsuspend it - сontact information is listed below on this page;
  • Please read this guide carefully for instructions regarding domain (un)suspension.

a). If your domain has been suspended by the domain registrar (clientHold status or .suspended-domain.com name servers in the RDAP or Whois* service) the reason for suspend is written in notification usually sent by the domain registrar to the registrant’s contact email.

* For .eu domain names please use whois.eurid.eu

Please write to the domain registrar** (see their contact list below) from your contact email for clarify reasons and unsuspend domain.

** You can find out domain registrar by looking domain information in the RDAP / Whois service.

b). If your domain was suspended by the domain zone registry (serverHold status in RDAP / Whois) please contact TLD zone registry support (see their contact list below).

Note: If the domain is present in antispam/antivirus blacklistings (you can check it by services like Spamhaus, VirusTotal, MxToolboxURLVOID, URLhaus etc.) we recommend clean up your site and delist domain from BLs.

Note:  We strongly recommend against linking domains to web servers with dirty IP addresses listed by Spamhaus, and to check the IP address to which you are linking your domain against the Spamhaus Blacklist (SBL).

Linking a domain to a dirty SBL blacklisted IP address may result in the domain being suspended due to the domain being added to the Spamhaus Domain Blocklist (DBL).

If your hosting provider has assigned you a bad IP address listed on a spam blacklist, you can contact their support team to have it replaced with a clean one.

Note: We recommend adding SPF / DKIM / DMARC and Null-MX records to name servers to prevent third parties from sending spam on behalf of your domain.

Without proper SFP/DMARC policies, anyone can send spam on behalf of your domain.

Note:  If your domain is linked to a proxy or VPN server:

1. Be sure to block outgoing SMTP connections from server (especially to port 25, which is commonly used by spammers, but 465 and 587 recommended too).

    • Block outgoing mail: sudo ufw deny out 25,465,587/tcp
    • Enable the firewallsudo ufw enable

2. Due to the increased number of end-user devices infected with malware apps, we recommend blocking connections from your servers to known botnets C&C  servers using the Spamhaus ZEN dataset (by IP addresses) and the URLhaus database (by DNS filtering).

3. Server administrators using proxies with technologies that generate requests to third-party SNIs (rather than to their own servers with Stealth-Oneself feature) should be also aware that large numbers of connection requests to third-party host servers are often considered by by their firewalls is a flood attack and may result in listing your server IP address in some RBLs.

Note: To reduce the risk of domain suspension we recommend activating the Domain Protect + service with the blacklist monitoring option.
